Why choose to design a luxury outdoor kitchen?
Because experiencing the outdoors with an outdoor kitchen is the new outdoor lifestyle trend.
Outdoor kitchens become the spatial and emotional extension of open spaces and living areas inside the home, but without giving up the same comforts and functional aspects of an internal cooking space.
To design a luxury outdoor kitchen correctly it is necessary to follow specific steps and take care of every aspect in detail, with the aim of creating a highly functional area of great aesthetic value.
In this regard, here are 4 useful design tips for an outdoor kitchen.
Developing a well-designed outdoor kitchen design project means satisfying the client's technical and stylistic needs and guaranteeing a unique and enjoyable experience in the kitchen.
But what are the fundamental steps to carry out to achieve a successful project?
To answer this question, we advise you to follow our design tips for luxury outdoor kitchens:
Inside living areas and private homes, kitchens are placed between walls that define them.
In outdoor kitchens, on the contrary, there are no defined limits.
Therefore, plan the layout and dimensions of the kitchen according to the technical and spatial requirements of the external environment, respecting the rule of the "work triangle". It is a system of functional preparation of the main work areas in the kitchen, namely a hob, fridge and sink.
The correct arrangement of these "task" areas will have a positive effect on the food preparation process and consequently on the entire experience of your client's luxury outdoor kitchen.
The kitchen is the soul of the home. It is a place of conviviality where family and friends come together to spend time together. For this reason, it is necessary to make this external home environment livable to 360 degrees.
How? Designing an outdoor kitchen with a glamorous but timeless stylistic concept, with the aim of satisfying the client's taste and making the outdoor area customised in detail, one-of-a-kind.
In a luxury outdoor kitchen, in addition to the aesthetic character, the technical and structural aspects also play a fundamental role in terms of efficiency and excellent performance.
Durability and efficiency are measured above all according to the materials used for the kitchen. That's why you should choose only high-quality, high-performance materials for your outdoor kitchen, as they will ensure not only a refined and elegant design composition but above all high practicality, thus facilitating its use and cleaning.
Just like the internal kitchen, the outdoor kitchen also needs customised modifications and choices aimed at creating a sophisticated and favourable atmosphere for the daily performance of your clients' routine.
Evaluate the best solutions for the clients and set a personal goal to satisfy their requests. A successful outdoor kitchen design project is recognised by the attention and technical-stylistic care placed in each design phase, aimed at creating a customised and high-performance area.
It is possible to customise each model in detail starting from the finishes and colours to the layout and dimensions to respond to the most demanding requests of the client and satisfy their preferences in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
The choice of unusual finishes with a precious appearance is the key to a luxurious appearance.
But let's take a closer look at the unmistakable features of outdoor kitchens by Samuele Mazza, a designer who gives his name to an outdoor furniture brand with an inimitable glamour style. Specifically, we will show you:
Curved Kitchen “Multi-Element” adapts to every kind of use. This is the most complex version that allows you, through different separate modules, to organise a complete kitchen space. Each element can be fitted with a BBQ, sink and gas hob to your liking. Each work area is organised at the client's discretion to ensure total comfort and a smooth progression of the preparation phases.
In fact, the entire structure is made of iron and painted for outdoor use. It has an aluminum base covered in synthetic resin, with metal feet characterised by special finishes. The module doors are covered in ultra-thin porcelain stoneware with a characteristic metallic finish.
The worktop is always made of porcelain stoneware with a marble finish, 12 mm thick with a bevelled edge, a refined material that is highly resistant to heat, wear and atmospheric agents.
This model, belonging to the Curved Kitchen line, escapes from the traditional spatial schemes, in fact, it has a very particular angle. Thanks to its characteristic shapes, the worktop becomes wider and more functional; a real operating console organised to have everything on hand.
An innovative design different from the usual patterns that does not sacrifice functionality and comfort. From a single central position, it is possible to manage the cooking, preparation and washing functions.
We are talking about a luxury outdoor kitchen developed in an angular sense, in which technique and aesthetics meet, giving the client comfort and style necessary to make their own outdoor cooking area a livable and functional space.
Here too we find an aluminum base, covered in hand-woven synthetic rattan, which rests on bronze-finish metal feet. The doors, as per the peculiarity of the curved line, are covered in low thickness porcelain stoneware with a metallic finish, which ensures strength and resistance to the entire structure. This model is equipped with a modern BBQ, sink and hob.
With the Linear Kitchen with Automatic Cover, technology offers the possibility of covering the work surface and the appliances with a cover that opens upwards and can be activated using a special remote control.
The model proposed here is equipped with an induction hob, a sink with a retractable mixer to allow the closure of the cover, a gas BBQ, wine cellar and porcelain stoneware top, suitable for contact with food and resistant to oxidation and high or harsh temperatures.
In addition to deciding the disposition of all the appliances, it is possible to choose a metal band for the base that creates a plinth (polaris base) or a bridge structure covered in woven synthetic resin.
The Island Kitchen with Sliding Table allows you to experience the outdoor environment around an elegant sliding porcelain stoneware table with a marble finish, which when open serves as a comfortable surface, while when closed covers and protects the worktop and kitchen appliances.
Specifically, this model is made with powder-coated iron modules and, just like the Linear Kitchen with Automatic cover, has a top made of porcelain stoneware, the same finish as the table, highly resistant to wear and weather. It is also possible in this case to customise the entire configuration of the kitchen, selecting between two bases of different styles.
Linear Section with Manual Cover is another model belonging to the Linear Kitchen collection, which has a structure with almost identical technical characteristics to the Linear Kitchen with Automatic Cover, but in this case it has manual cover. The cover is also ideal to protect the entire work surface when the kitchen is not in use and at the same time finishes it when closed.
The Sectional U Shaped Kitchen is one of the most complete outdoor kitchen models. It boasts a highly functional “U” layout and adapts to larger outdoor spaces.
It is equipped with two induction hobs, teppanyaki, gas BBQ and wine cellar. The modules are characterised by extra durable powder coating, a finish that gives resistance to the entire structure and counteracts the oxidation process.
At the request of the client, it is possible to add sliding shelves for a customised solution.
The Linear Kitchen with Sliding Cover shares the same stylistic and functional aspects of the other models in the Linear Kitchen collection, with a distinctive trait: a sliding cover towards the back of the kitchen that becomes a bar counter. This is an additional element that emphasises the multifunctional nature of the proposal. This composition is complete with a sink with a retractable mixer to allow the sliding cover to pass through, and an ice-bath.
It is the smallest of the proposals suitable for small environments where you want to have a design object that contains and hides a latest generation BBQ. To complete the Linear Kitchen Barbecue Version, you can choose between an aluminum base covered in hand-woven synthetic rattan or a straight metal band. The iron structure is entirely powder coated and therefore boasts an extra durable finish
This model has a sliding cover that opens to the sides to hide the appliances. At the same time these two elements in porcelain stoneware become a comfortable work surface.
