Luxury Furniture Fair: what customers are looking forward to at the upcoming Salone del Mobile 2021

DFN is always looking for new ways to tell its story, communicate with its clients, and express new emotions and splendor every year through new collections and furnishings of great aesthetic appeal.

Although the cancellation of the Salone del Mobile 2020 removed the possibility of exhibiting the year's new products, the company still wanted to meet its clients using new ways of communication and "meeting".

In fact, DFN has invested in effective and immersive digital activities aimed at guaranteeing clients an experience similar to that of the fair but from a virtual perspective and has created a Salone del Mobile 4.0.

Thanks to these completely innovative ways of interaction, the brand did not miss the 2020 appointment with its visitors. On the contrary, it offered them the opportunity to "immerse themselves" in the luxurious furnishing atmospheres and learn about all of 2021's new products.

Last year was an opportunity for DFN to get involved and still guarantee an all-encompassing experience for its clients.

What should we expect now for the Salone del Mobile 2021?

What are the trends of the upcoming Salone del Mobile?

The exhibition has started again as a Super Salone, with a completely revisited format in person compared to the previous editions supported by a more innovative digital format.

In fact, the Salone already opened its doors on June 30 with the opening of the new online platform dedicated to the virtual display of brands and products.

The curator of the project and archistar Stefano Boeri is working on the organization of the exhibition in collaboration with Federlegno Arredo Eventi and with the support of an exceptional international team formed by the co-designers: Andrea Caputo, Maria Cristina Didero, Anniina Koivu, Lukas Wegwerth, Marco Ferrari, and Elisa Pasqual from Studio Folder.

This year will not be a simple furniture fair but a real expo of furnishings and interiors—ideally organized in 6-7 pavilions—with a particular focus on current trends that call into question the central role of the home and the need to invest in their own living space, and which aim for the reorganization of private and common areas and the design of durable, agile, functional furnishings that do not give up on aesthetics.

The exhibition space, conceived as a sort of large and fluid design library, will be divided into long parallel sections that will allow visitors to move freely, respecting the rules of social distancing.

Luxury Furniture Fair 2021: the latest DFN Collections

This year's design week will be from September 5th to 10th in Milan.

DFN will not miss the opportunity to meet its clients this week. To welcome them in a new way, far from the crowds, they have chosen the famous Tortona area, which has always been the setting and nerve center of the collateral events at the Salone during the design week.

The Magna Pars Suite Hotel is located in this area, and DFN has been collaborating with this luxurious and iconic 5-star hotel for some time.

Since its inauguration, the roof deck of this prestigious hotel has been furnished with elements from the Samuele Mazza collection.

Here, customers and visitors will be able to relax in a magnificent furnishing setting, a living room in which they can meet the DFN team to discuss and learn about all the new products and immerse themselves in the DFN style.

In addition to this space in the heart of the Milan design area, DFN will exhibit a selection of furniture in Brescia at the Sandrini Green Architecture space located near the famous tower designed by the architect Fuksas.

Sandrini specializes in surprising landscape design projects and has been partnering with DFN for several years in the implementation of turnkey outdoor projects which also require green design.

This space will display the latest innovations from the Sublime Collection by Dolcefarniente and Samuele Mazza Collection, and an elegant structure by La Casa dei Limoni.

Clients who wish can make an appointment and be accompanied from Milan to the Brescia showroom through the special transfer service made available by DFN.

Two unmissable occasions for those who have always loved and followed DFN: a chic and modern universe in which design, lifestyle, and furniture merge.
